To Our Heroes past and present.

It is a patriotic time in the USA.

We just celebrated Memorial Day, today (June 6th) we remember those lost on D-Day in 1944 and soon we will also be celebrating out Independence on the 4th of July.

I have to say that the older I get, the more emotional and appreciative I become of such sacrifice. Men and Women gave their lives for me? And you?

What would they be thinking of todays kids/young adults that for some reason feel its "okay" to stand on the flag (Old Glory) in protest?

It is so shameful and disrespectful, it literally makes me sick to my stomach and filled with anger.

Kids, you have a right to protest BECAUSE of that flag that you think is such a problem?

Do you just not get it? Are you really that ignorant? Or do you just not care?

There is a simple solution if you dont care - leave. I am sure tax payers wont mind buying your way out of the country. I'd rather have you out because the country you are delusional and the country you think you want doesn't exist.

As a kid I visited Gettysburg and Colonial Williamsburg and could not FATHOM how people lived like that. I guess we just replaced being comfortable with the old days work ethic and moral code.

To our troops past and present - you are my heroes!

Thank you for your sacrifice.
