Best decision that I ever made, really.

But what do I mean by it? I discuss it in my book (which is free on Amazon today through the weekend here) where it is an intimate relationship with God/Jesus.

We all have our OWN relationships.

Our own relationship with our spouse

Our own relationship with friends

Our own relationship with family

Etc.

Each one needs nourished and nurtured in order to thrive. The same loving care needs to be given to your relationship with Jesus Christ. You cant just know the statistics of his life. You cant just know the stories - that wouldnt make you a "friend" that makes you an acquaintance or a fan. Right.

I knew a lot about my wife before we finally started dating - but we didn't LOVE each other. We hadnt grown that and spent time and dedicated ourselves to digging deeper.

Have you dug as deep as you can go with Jesus? I would bet not. You and Jesus need to date - take time to date Jesus. Grow with him. Grow in your love for him. Grow in your admiration for him. Be infatuated with his love and mercy.

He calls you to a relationship - not a religion.
